This are all things I put on the side and want to get back to. I'm still a little nervous that no one is going to read my fiction, even with attention I've gotten over the past 2 months, fiction has a really hard time on steemit.

In general it has a hard time. Poetry has been 'dead' for centuries, with small resurgences in relation to musical trends (jazz/spoken word, beat poets/hippies, and hip hop/def poetry). It isn't anything you can change. I know that when I post poetry it won't appeal to as many people and there won't be valued on 'the market'. . That's the lifelong balance that artists have always struggled hardest with- how to be true to their calling but also provide enough value to society to be able to eat. There will only be a few artists that are exalted so high that are wealthy, and a few more become sustainable, but you have to find that piece that overlaps. If you are looking to trade with others, you have to make sure you bring what they want ;)

I see things changing rapidly, but we are on the forefront, which means we gotta keep believing but it also means we will have a really easy time once things get moving.
