"Why We Are So Mean To Each Other?"
"in reality, we are scared children."
In the two months I've been on this platform, nobody has been mean to me, and I've been mean to nobody.
IRL, I sat down at a table today with 6 people I didn't know. We were all nice to each other.
So who are we talking about that is so mean? Tribes, I think. Once you join a tribe, you inherit that tribes' enemies, and then you act mean to those enemies, and they act mean to you.
By and large, I do my best not to join tribes, or at least not to engage tribally. Sometimes we are tribe members by circumstance. If there's a war, I will be expected to fight for England, and I'll do it. But I don't like tribes generally. That's where the meanness is. :)
Good comment! ;-)
Very true - but we all got here because of tribalism - and as much as we like to paint a beautiful picture of ancient humanity - tribes wherever you find them - are brutal. I agree that most humans are nice - but most groups of humans are the most dangerous force known.
Well at least they got the crazy stuff done fast haha. Modern humans passive aggressive for a lifetime? XD
