When Does It End?
Using @abusereports, it is easy to look through and see the big offenders. And one that was easy to see what @trafalgar who also owns @traf and I believe @darksaint.
41% of his voting power goes to @traf, his account made for, "Alt account for original short form content. Parental guidance recommended for the easily offended." Which is straight from his accounts description.
31.5% goes to @darksaint, which posts small supportive content that if translated, while positive and up lifting, is extremely short and I don't think worth the 100% up votes given to himself from Trafalgar.
I believe @darksaint belongs to @trafalgar because the second @darksaints was created, trafalgar has 100% up voted every single post by darksaint, including the very first post ever.
Currently, he seems to be waiting 5 days before up voting @darksaints, perhaps to hide from @abusereports.
And finally, 14.5% of his up voting goes to his own account. This isn't a bad number, I would consider this a good number, except:
14.5 + 31.5 + 41 = 87% up vote on himself.
657k SP giving 87% of his vote to himself
Now, I know people are stating, well it is there money and they can use it how they please. Sure, they can. But they also hurt the platform every single time they do.
Why does anybody want to join a community where the only way to make money is to have money. Why join a community where it seems all the big players are controlling everything and you have no chance of getting any rewards worth anything while big players spam and abuse the platform for their own gain.
We Need To Care About The Future Of Steemit
This platform will not live if people only give to themselves. It hurts the market, when the market hurts, the value hurts, and so does your investment. When you just give to yourself, over and over and over, it does nothing but hurt the value of the platform.
The problem is, everybody is doing it. Our steemitabuse police, big whales, witnesses, developers......
When does it end?
After STEEM's price tanks?
After another platform comes along with better governance and a way to stop abuse and everybody transitions to them?
User's drive the value..... You want more value, you want more users. You want more users, you need to share the rewards.
It really is a simple concept.

I feel the root of all of it (and of mankind ;-)) is ethics.
After 3 months of being active on Steemit, I appreciate the most part of my experience, the social and living connections it offered me, the evolving platform, etc. How much I earned, talking SBD and STEEM? The equivalent of $15.
I could be earning the same amount every hour or so, thanks to some alt accounts, and posting/rewarding here a dozen of the ideas I orally share on a daily basis with my "physical" friends. BUT I don't. Why?
Because I take for granted the blockchain and cryptocurrencies original spirit: disrupting the traditional capitalist economy. It EXCLUDES to copycat the banks attitude: creating money (being it a crypto one or not) only to send it to oneself and to feed the greed of the happy few (the closest dev friends, the smart whales,...).
Fully supporting your ongoing struggle and vigilance, @biasnarrative! :-D
It really is a simple concept. i believe it,always succes for steemit
