cheetah finds people who are copy / pasting (plagairising) content.
In this case if you wanted to support the petition it probably would have been better to decline payout on the post, steemians would take it more seriously if they didnt suspect you were trying to make money from someone elses content / a serious issue that its morally abiguous to make money from.

Thanks for clearing the issue Scaletrix. I had no idea this is considered plagiarism since I added the source for people to go and vote. So, I thought it was advertising only. For declining the payment, I should only add a note on the post or what should I do?
I'm not saying you are plagiarizing this only trying to help you understand what cheetahs is doing.
When you make a post there is a rewards option, you can choose 50/50 SP/SD or 100 SP or decline pay out. You could repost it that way for example, and make the subject and content if this post 'delete'.
I'm not criticizing you, just trying to help you look the best you can to your fellow steemians. I'm giving you an upvote to show good faith :)

Also, I cant seem to find that reward option now when I want to edit the post. Would you have any idea if/how I can find it?

Once you post something you can't edit it. The option would be on the right side when you're creating a new post though.
