Abuse Report #7 - @friendlymoose

in #abuse3 years ago

Here’s another representative of this notorious (and our ‘favorite’) type of abusers – the accounts that post 4 times a day.
Well, to be honest – sometimes 3, sometimes 4.

@friendlymoose has not yet reached the reputation of the already mentioned accounts of the same type - has not reached the reputation of 77 like cryptospa, or 76 like boddhisattva. But he still has time for that, right?

But do you have to wait until one day you wake up, log in to Hive, come across this account, which has already reached a reputation of over 70, finally look at his posts and ask yourself: What the hell happened here and how did he get here?

Because, let's take a look at these posts right now:

What do they contain? – Statistics.

3 or 4 posts a day, containing statistics.

Copy/pasted statistics.

“Overview of the blogs and users that received the most votes and comments yesterday” in the communities of LeoFinance and Proof of Brain, as well as an overview of the photography contests on the blockchain, containing all the requirements of all of them, copied and pasted from their original communities and posts.

That means tons of useless information (contest posts reach almost 3,000 words of copied information) generated every day.

And not only that - these are standard low-effort posts. User changes every day only some details in his templates. Most of the information and data in them do not change.

Oh, we forgot, there are occasional posts for personal photo contests and these posts are three types - New Round, Reminder and Winners, again with templates.

So, what do you think about this farming?

Let's keep Hive free of abusers, farmers, spammers and low-quality content producers!

@xposd is a project of a bunch of people who care about the quality, purity and integrity of our decentralized social network.

We are not here for the rewards and they’re all declined, but everyone could support us by sending HIVE anonymously from any exchange where HIVE is listed.

All donations will be used for exposing more abusers, downvoting shit posts and comments and upvoting quality content.

Sort:

Donations are nice, but what we really need from the readers is for them to follow a downvote trail so that abusers can see the community is committed to an abuse free platform, imo.

We hope it is clear that donations are not the purpose of this account. The text above is just a hint for those who appreciate our research work and decide to support us. We monitor some of our cases and download for greater visibility, but our resource is currently very limited for that, let alone to follow other downvote trails.

Yes, I agree, moderation as a service doesn't pay.
It is time and resource intensive and in return you get hate mail.

There will always be hatred when abuses are brought to light.
Oh, an abuser responded to us with 'Namaste'. That's a kind of positive energy, isn't it? ;)
