This floating ship has indeed moved the function of the Power Plant into an Aceh Tourism Object. The power plant, powered at 10.5 Megawatts, was once in the ship, but has now been moved in 2010. Currently, the floating vessel is under the management of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
The 2,600-ton vessel was previously in the sea precisely at Ulee Lheuh crossing and is now in Punge Blang Cut, Jaya Baru, Banda Aceh City. On Sunday, December 26, 2004 at around 8:45 pm the ship was dragged 2.4 km to the mainland due to earthquake and tsunami wave as high as 9 meters.
