وقال الحسن: إذا أردت أن تعلم من أين أصاب الرجل ماله, فانظر فيم أنفقه, فإن الخبيث ينفق في السرف.
Says Imam Hasan Al-bashri:
If you want to know where the source of the property is obtained by someone, then look at where he put it, because the bad treasure is spent for the spree and boast not for worship and sedeqah.
