My grandson had black belt testing today. I missed it. 
I noticed when my children each passed my capabilities. I learned to accept losing their respect. The list of things I could do gradually became a list of things I would never do again.
Today Andrew is more capable than his parents. Time should give him the muscles and abilities to dominate them in all respects.
As I was proud of my children... I am proud of my grandson!

Why do you say that you lost their respect? That you couldn't do some things anymore or that they could do it better, doesn't mean they lost their respect for you!
