I have been out today, but on the bike and not foot. I tested putting the Fit-bit inside my trainers and It'd counted about 200 steps for a 5 km journey - pointless!

EDIT: ah cool! think your supposed to strap it to your ankle or try the pedal, so it gets the round and round bit happening
I tried that first - it wont fit, and I'm pretty skinny on the lower leg!
I put the whole thing in my sock, surely that's pretty much the same? :D
