I must say that running is a great gain for my endurance when cycling. I really wouldn't have thought so, because my cycling of the last 15 years had no great effect on my running.

What do I mean by that? I have the feeling that I ride the bike now with even greater ease and relaxation without getting tired. . . and that since I started running at the beginning of June!

It' s strange! Probably other muscle groups are addressed when cycling and running.

Anyways . . . the bicycle was happy that I got it again out of the garage, especially as it was allowed to get to know my running shoes, because normally I put on my cycling shoes while cycling. ;)

Ich muss schon sagen, das Laufen bringt großen Gewinn für die Ausdauer beim Fahrradfahren. Hätte ich echt nicht gedacht, denn mein vieles Radfahren der letzten 15 Jahre brachte fürs Laufen relativ wenig.

Was meine ich damit? Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich mit noch größerer Leichtigkeit und Entspanntheit auf dem Fahrrad dahingleite ohne müde zu werden . . . und das seit ich Anfang Juni mit dem Laufen begonnen hab.

Schon seltsam! Vermutlich werden teilweise andere Muskelgruppen beim Radfahren und beim Laufen angesprochen.

Egal . . . das Fahrrad hat sich gefreut, dass ich es mal wieder aus der Garage geholt habe, zumal es auch meine Laufschuhe kennenlernen durfte, denn normalerweise ziehe ich beim Radfahren meine Radfahrschuhe an. ;)

I agree with you, running effect cycling and vice versa, I see when I do both activities for change I am able to run more freshly and cycling harder :)
