Today was a day off from work for me for the occasion of Labor day in UK. I work on a UK shift and follow the UK holiday pattern. I feel a bit sad now after 4 days of holiday. Before the holidays, I was seriously looking for the weekend waiting to do so many things. But now I feel a bit dumb today doing nothing. My priorities and plans are still pending. I had a lot to do but I did nothing.
Yesterday night I thought at least I could cover it up today but honestly I really felt like sleeping today without doing anything productive. Of course I was active on Steem platform and I was able to write some decent articles but coming to my other priorities, it was not very great. I don't know if I will be able to cover up for the loss in the coming weeks. I guess it is the right time to make a proper calendar and do a perfect time management. I'm very good at preparing tasks and making a proper time chart. The problem for me is, sticking to what I plan. I keep getting other distractions. My activity for the day was also very less.
Sometimes taking a day off or two is more beneficial than being active without rest!
You gather strength and do your 150% the rest of the week.
As a person with its own business, I know how hard it can get to let go, but we should struggle for balance also!
Really enjoy your content!
Thanks for the comment @ioannafo. I'm really glad that you enjoyed my content. Yes, I'm planning to put an extra effort this week to make up for the loss. In a way, it is better to take rest when we find the time. We are not always lucky to have enough time to rest.
