I have always loved extreme adventure and one of the things that I enjoyed doing before was surfing!
Surfing is a fun water sport but it is also very exhausting. It is not for the faint-hearted because you need to brave the waves in order to enjoy the ride!
For today's Actifit report, I will be sharing with you some simple tips that you can use if you ever want to try this enjoyable water activity!
First, never learn by yourself. Always seek professional help because the things you will learn from the experts will surely come in handy. And, you may learn tips that will save your life when you are faced with a difficult situation.
Second, choose a big surfboard. A bigger surfboard will help you gain better balance and develop better fundamental mechanics in surfing.
Third, do not use oil-based sunblock. Wearing lotion or sunblock will make your skin sticky, thus giving you a difficult time maneuvering your surfboard. You may slip at some point if your body is too sticky because of what you applied on your skin.
Lastly, HAVE FUN! It is very normal to fall and get knocked out by the waves. But always remember to stand, pick your board up, paddle towards the ocean, wait for the waves, and ride your board again.
The feeling of being able to stand on your surfboard and ride the wave is definitely exhilarating. It's a feeling that's so addicting, you surely want to try again and again!
