RE: Actifit Daily #56: Actifit.io Website Updates & Top 10 Daily Actifitters

in #actifit6 years ago

Hi,

This is a fine update. As you know, I am always glad to see significant updates from Actifit.

The post does have some issues. In the continued effort to make these updates even better, I'll cite some examples:

  • "and allow clicking read more for a popup that displays the content of the post without leaving the site." has a formatting issue, as it is unclear that "read more" is the thing users are supposed to click without the use of quotation marks or capitalization.

  • "our website logged in users can now directly cast an upvote..." is also unclear. A possible edit would be "Users logged in to our new website can now directly cast upvotes..."

  • "So to avoid any potential service disruption or login issues to our users, we have just implemented a change onto our Actifit.io code so as we are as of now using steemconnect.com proper URL instead of the old one for authenticating the user." has a few problems. Firstly, it is too long. I would split it in two. Also, you want to avoid login issues for your users, not to. Further, "onto" is not the word I would use there. Finally, "so as we are as of now" looks like it was edited partially, maybe? Here's what I would do:
"Therefore, in order to avoid any potential service disruption or login issues for our users, we have just implemented a change to our Actifit.io code. As of now, we are using the proper steemconnect.com URL for authenticating users, rather than the old one."

Thank you for your contribution, and I look forward to seeing more from you.
