Oh man, those giant ass bridges used to scare me as a kid. Phobias of water AND heights - lol. We'd be crossing the George Washington bridge and I would duck in the back seat so I didn't have to look out the window.
My aunt preferred taking the Lincoln Tunnel, and at first I thought that was so much nicer because it didn't scare me ...until I saw that Silvester Stallone movie where they got stuck inside and it was leaking. I was like LET'S NEVER TAKE THE LINCOLN TUNNEL EVER, EVER AGAIN. XD

I can relate to what your saying although when I was growing up we did go over big bridges like the ones here, but the first time I went through one of the tunnels I thought of all the water overhead and decided i preferred going over the bridges LOL
