i have been almost a year without consuming Pepsi , i am pretty proud of myself because it was a huge problem for me
my caffeine dose in one day was a pot of coffee with milk and sugar , 2 monster energy drinks and half a 24 case of Pepsi if i didn't consume enough i got massive migraines so bad that i would faint from my head pain . i don't even know how much caffeine i was drinking a day i barely drank water , it was always Pepsi or coffee .. i was scared for my life but i knew i couldn't stop drinking it some days that's all i had in a day i was so full i had no more room for food , i was like this for years where i lived off Pepsi.. i almost lost all my teeth from it , but from me quitting Pepsi i have a shot now to get all my teeth fixed , i was a rough 2 weeks for me , i was bed ridden because of my migraines from all the caffeine , i drank Pepsi for 2-3 years and it just got worse over time , i had to go to the doctors because i was soo dehydrated my lips were chapped i couldn't keep water down without throwing up i was badly ill but as soon as i was better i started with Pepsi again , it helped my hypoglycemia , it gave me the high sugar i needed so i could make myself something better , but i remember i told myself i will quit drinking it and i tried i didn't even get a day in and i had migraines so bad that i was crying and i fainted from pain and when i woke up my head pain went away but my body went stuff i couldn't move my legs or anything i was as stiff as a brick so my boyfriend mike began to worry so we tried me drinking Pepsi and it worked my headache went away and i was able to move again , i knew i needed to quit but i stopped trying ,
one day i went a grabbed a Pepsi cause it was morning and i tried drinking it and i just didn't want it anymore , so i gave away all of it to friends that came over , since then i have started drinking tea and water and juice sometimes!!
i'm not gonna tell you that cutting it out is easy because it was super hard , i was in not good shape
i have lost the weight i have gained and i eat more now because i have quit
a caffeine addiction is just like any other drug its hard to cut out , you get withdrawals from it and when it is long term its not easy ,i miss the taste of Pepsi but i don't miss what comes with it !
I gave up soda for a year and I felt so much butter and more energized, but now I drink it every so often and I am ready to give it up again, but it can be addicting just like coffee. Your body gets used to it and has withdrawals when it doesn’t get it like it usually does, but the benefits outweigh the sacrifice.
Way to go!
