I would be selfish of me and not in the long-term interests of steemit
if I posted often and kept all the rewards my posts have been earning
lately.
So I'm experimenting with a new method of growing the author community
diversity.
I am promoting authors from my continent (Africa first, other slow
adoption continents later) in order to help them get a following and
become Tuna's and Dolphins.
Once they have a following, they, I'm sure, will do the same.
The plan is to promote new authors for a couple of weeks.
All the liquid rewards for the post will go to them to buy STEEM and
power up their accounts. Then I move on to the next authors I feel are
producing good, diverse content that will expand the diversity of
topics and content on STEEM.
The Steem power from the post will remain in my account, to help
improve the strength of my voting finger. That way I will be able to
reward even more diverse content and "up and coming" authors that
otherwise might be missed with vote love.

I joined the community about two weeks ago, and only made a few posts. Some did well, and others not so well as we can expect! I am not the best writer in the world, but I am learning whilst writing every post.
So what did I realise when I went away for the weekend?
I must be one of the many to be addicted to STEEMIT. I Love Steemit!!!
So I am currently going through withdrawal systems for a few reasons:
1.I went away to a remote location in the East of South Africa and there are no cell phone coverage in the area. I was cut off from the digital world, whilst enjoying the weekend and resting in nature.
2.The first thing on my return was to connect as soon as possible only to find that my account was one of the compromised accounts on STEEMIT and I cannot log in.

I have sent the email, and am currently waiting for a response. Come on STEEMIT Unlock my account that I can get Steemin :)
I know that the STEEMIT team are trying their utter best to get through all the work of ensuring that we have a secure platform to work on, I still have to wait my turn. So the good thing is that I can still read posts, and when I read @gavvet’s post I realized that he might be able to lighten my withdrawal symptoms.

It's a win for the author, a win for me and a win for diversifying the platform.
A win for the platform is an indirect win for everybody ;)
That's my line of thinking anyway, I have to put these bots that are tailing me to good use for the good of the platform and not for my own personal gain... If high earning authors just take all the time that might retard the platform in the long run.
I think the platform will grow fastest when people see rewards being spread around to diverse authors with diverse topics.
Africa also has the lowest level of users at the moment so that is why I am focusing on building that demographic for now.
Africa and other 3rd world places are also likely to see mass adoption of crypto...
The need for financial and other services is greatest in these places and the legislation less restrictive.
I agree that the 3rd world countries are more likely to mass adopt crypto before the rest of the world through sheer necessity be it africa, south america or south east asia
You will get back the account very soon, dev team is doing an amazing job with this, but i am a little worry about symptoms it is like leaving drugs symptoms

Great idea! I also think that beginners need to support. I decided to support the three authors with good post and to transfer them for 50 SBD. It might sound weird but get some Immodium. It's got an opiate that doesn't cross the blood brain barrier but does an amazing job treating withdrawal symptoms.
Maybe it'll help with steemit too lolol
