always timely @adsactly with your posts, advertising has a very ancient history, in Pompeii archaeologists have found advertising slogans with suggestions for citizens to vote for certain political figures dating back to 79 a.d. So this suggests that passing from the invention of printing, to the creation of advertising art posters (for the illiterates) by artists prior to the belle epoque and coming to our days with internet and digital, we can imagine that the next step will be that to see it projected in the sky or on some mountains like a large installation by Christo.
Paradoxically it will be more and more incisive and invasive at the subliminal and cerebral level, manipulating the actions of consumers.
We can only defend ourselves with culture by developing cognitive abilities alternatively I think, as a teacher, that one of the next steps in the national schooling plans is a discipline that will educate young people to a correct vision and awareness of the messages and subliminal images that unfortunately will have the prevalence in advertising communication.
Thank you for giving us this opportunity for further study. Ad Majora!
