Vitamins are broadly divided into two groups which are;

  1. Fat-soluble vitamins and

  2. Water-soluble vitamins

  3. Fat-soluble vitamins

Fat soluble vitamins are those vitamins that dissolve completely in fat an example of the fat-soluble vitamin include;

  • Vitamin A

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin needed in minute quantity by the body. It usually comes in varieties of color.

Functions of Vitamin -A in the body

-Helps to correct night blindness or any disease related to the eye.

-Vitamins A helps to keep the regulatory of the eye organs.

-Vitamin A improves good eye sight.
