Delicious post, @luces! I love the food of our American continent. As a Venezuelan, I must say that our food is very succulent and varied. Although we share foods such as arepas or hallacas, each region is characterized by its own gastronomy and a particular way of preparing meals. As it is the case of the grains that in some zones are prepared sweet and in others salty, the empanadas or the famous oriental cuajao, the pisillo llanero or the patacones maracuchos. Within the gastronomy of the other countries, I have been lucky enough to try many of their traditional dishes and indisputably I keep the Mexican food. The consistency of its stews, the characteristic spiciness, the mixture of condiments and spices, make your meal an amazing experience. I got hungry. LOL. Thank you for sharing.

That's right @nancy, we're lucky to be able to taste these delicacies. Our Venezuelan dishes are unique, but I'd love to try Colombia's famous "Bandeja Paisa", I've heard a lot about it, as well as Mexican food. Quite a mix of flavors....Thank you for commenting.
