Living in the Balkans is certainly an experience. For sure there is always something new happening. Whether it be a political saga, bribery, the war, mis-spending, corruption etc. Very few real news stories get published, as very few people want the world to know what is really here!! No coincidences that I chose to relocate here many moons ago, seems destiny plays a role in everything.
When we were taught history it was an interesting topic for me...but one that always raised more questions than I had answers. At school in the 70's and early 80's schooling was pretty non-interesting for me, now at a young age of 52, it makes sense. I used to be handed many punishments from my school says, the ruler across the knuckles, the "black dap" or plimsole as it is properly called, across my ass. Spent many an after school in detention, and many a lunch time sent "to the wall" for disobeying orders! But hey, at least my brain was not filled with crap from the system as much as others! I spent more time challenging the system than working with it.
We never learned much to be honest, and this certainly has shown itself throughout my life. Learning the other-side of the Wars by living in Russia and listening to the locals. Experiencing the River Nile, Egypt and Israel by spending time in out of the way places. Always away from the commercial offerings and deciding to adventure. Some who travelled with me know the pain in the ass I can be! Anyway, the Egyptian pyramids of Giza have been portrayed as an example of history.
Unfortunately this whole part of history becomes somewhat a big question mark indeed. Whilst we cannot dispute that they really exist, as I have seen them, we can certainly raise questions about the way they are portrayed in the world today. When I visited Giza, I was unable to enter the main pyramids for some unknown reason. As if my soul would not permit me. I did, however, encounter a smaller "Queen's" pyramid adjacent, a kind security guard ushered me to see it secretly, whilst my partner was in the main Giza pyramid.
Again, this explains many things, particularly as I have recently discovered the Pyramids in Bosnia!! The Balkans is often associated with lots of things, but Pyramids, come on!! Being only 300 km away from where I live, they become a place of weekend retreats. There is no disputing the fact these are Pyramids, but what is interesting here is the scientific evidence beyond belief. Carbon dating of the construction to some 34,000 years ago, the materials used in the construction are 3 times stronger than any material in use today! Further more, the discovery of not one, but two distinct civilizations having been part of the complex.
These constructions have been laughed at by so called experts, criticised by outside agencies, and ridiculed by Egyptology - of course they have, because it changes everything we have been told is true in our history. To learn and witness something of this nature is quite a mind stretch I can tell you, but there is no doubt they exist. I now spend a great deal of time at the Pyramids, with friends and visitors, so that they too, can share the reality of the world.
In fact the last visit there with Dr Sam Osmanagic (the discoverer)I was introduced to the Prime Minister of Bosnia, who for the first time had visited Visoko. He committed to assisting the private foundation that has purchased the land, and is developing the area around the Pyramids. This has only one positive effect on the whole discovery - finally, after 15 years of hard work and digging, the region finally accepts the Pyramids are real and exist. I suppose how the rest of the world interprets that is another thing.
The Pyramid of The Sun and the Tunnels Ravne complex are a myriad of adventure and discovery - so if you are into discovering more of the real history of our planet go and pay a visit!
