I flew over an old chapel from 1626 lost to the sea this morning, well, the chapel didnt get swept up by the English channel this morning haha.
It's a hot spot for the local resident seal, 'Igor', he likes to go fishing around the rocks, as do I.
You can only see the old Kingston Chapel when the tide as at it's lowest.
It's also not a great idea to fly a Paramotor over water when it is more than knee deep, so it was a good opportunity this morning.
There's not a great deal on information available on the Kingston Rocks Chapel, but I remember growing up as a kid, we were always told it was a church, and we would go looking for Spider crabs at low tide. Still to this day though no one really knows its there or what it was.
Sometimes I can see small schools of Bass swimming around it...then I usually wish I had taken the boat out haha.
Nice morning flight across the UK's South Coast. Looking forward to more this Summer here in England.
I did also see Igor the seal, but they 360 cam didnt pick it up very well, but next time I will wear my 4k cam and get some snaps of Igor close up.
Thanks for reading!
