Our hike to panther creek was a short one but it only lead us to the top of the falls, which was a stunning view but the real magesty was on the lower level with the river, which you have to climb down two walls of slippery mossy rocks to get to. After taking in the top view I found the climb down but @mickeybeaves was nervous and didn’t want me to go, after leaving him behind he found his way down a bit grumpy from getting a little muddy.
In my moments of solidarity I took in the falls from a different perspective, watching the water upside down flow over the cliff face, it was astonishing!
On top of mister grumpy gills not enjoying his climb down the rock face, I made him angrier by crawling out on a giant tree that had fallen out over the river. He grumbled the whole time that I made my way across to watch the river rushing underneath my feet. He kept telling me to be careful and was in a sour mood until we started our hike back to the truck. I was so proud of and praised him for facing a fear and meeting me down by the bottom of the falls and at the end he was happy he did it too!
Lets have a wine toast for this, i love it.
Excellent photographs dear! Have nice day.
Beautiful shots you've got here.. Much love
What a beautiful place, is that a frequent hike for you?
It’s not a frequent hike because I am merely visiting the area along my full time traveling adventures with my soon to be husband in our RV! We often map out a lot of the places we want to go and find cool spots to check out while we are there!
Sounds like a pretty awesome life.
Have you made it cross-country yet?
Magical in many ways!
Nice photos :)
