Island life: Costarican Dreams

in #adventure7 years ago (edited)

With hurricane season right around the corner, people have finally stopped ignoring the subject and we are all finally talking about our options. No one wants to think we are going to get rocked again, but at the same time no one wants to be as caught off guard as we were last year.

Do we stay? Do we go? How will we make money? How long will it take to recover?

I myself, cannot imagine going back to Florida again. In July it will be only one year since I moved and being back those couple month through the hurricanes was my living nightmare. Not because Florida isn’t amazing, but I’ve already done that for 26 years of my life, I’m craving something new.

My mind seems to keep landing on the possibility of Costa Rica if all hell breaks loose again in a few months. I have friends over there and between all my vacations there I’ve spent over a month traveling the Pacific side. Aljuala, Jaco, Santa Teresa, Tamarindo... plus it would give me the chance to finally learn Spanish.

If you’ve read any of my previous posts you will be starting to understand how much I love to be outdoors and I crave the next adventure. Costa Rica has offered some of the most eye opening, adrenaline filled adventures of my life.
