I didn't think at the time that I achieved my aim of mentally detaching myself from the cares of money and all the emotions that came with it. It was only a year later after being back home that I realise that I had no care in the world to do with money... regardless how broke I was.
That's a very good realisation, @nueve! I envy you... I haven't reached that moment of truth yet. Maybe it's my husband who is trying to make me understand that same philosophy. 😊 Maybe someday I will too.
