So in my spare time i like to find the lost treasures beneath our feet. Where i live has a rich and full history of lead mining and mining of other metals and rocks. This area is called the Peak District and i encourage everybody who visits or lives in the UK to visit this beautiful landscape. Above ground you get fantastic views, below ground are lost and hidden complex tunnels where miners once extracted crystal stones and precious metals.
Taking this very seriously myself and my group of exploring friends all went out and bought ourselves the correct equipment and gear needed to safely descend into the depths of Derbyshire.
I have so many photographs of my adventures that its difficult to choose a selection for this post. Below are the ones i chose out of the hundreds i have taken, all on my trusty Samsung S7 and now my S8.
Good grief! I'm afraid you'd never get me down there! I'll have to live vicariously through your posts. Following.
Take care of my son! ;)
haha always! I've been given the title tour guide as i do all the research and obtain all the maps and keys to enter :) PPE or no entry with me! Haydn is the most cautious because of Mia :) I'll be joining him soon when my little man arrives.
Yeah, I just saw that post.
Haydn being cautious... it might be worth going along on one of your adventures, just to see that! ;)
Amazing photos... I have at least seven favorites!!!! Lololol but that second one is just so cool!!!! Seeing those things is probably the closest thing to time travel that we will ever get! Thats a different era for sure! And I agree with @michelle.gent lololol.... Never ever would I step foot in those places!!! Lol but thanks for letting us come along with you on your phone!!! Lol
