RE: "I yearn to meet my One and live happily ever after" – is the 'Twin soul' idea real or a myth?

A true relationship is one where the love is not a result of need. Most of time we love someone because that’s our need. How many times we have loved someone because they need our love? Unfortunately human beings are pretty selfish in nature and we crave to fulfil out own needs. The moment we don't have the desire for our need, the love vanishes.

True relationship is one where we get out of this selfish behaviour and love the person irrespective of how that person makes us feel. If you can love a person irrespective of how much he or she irritates you or fights with you then you can be rest assured that your love has crossed the boundaries of selfishness. But to attain this state of mind is not possible for most of us. We love people who make us feel good. @nomad-magus
