The shame projected onto the naked female body forces exotic dancers to become shameless. A lot of girls are finding their own voice in having to stand up for themselves, and if shameless enough, for their stipperhood sisters that can’t or won’t because someone would point a finger claiming “unfit parent” or “undeserving of basic human kindness.” I get a tiny pain in my heart every time I hear one of my sisters reiterate that bullshit they’ve been shackled with. May the narrative of my experience be the silencing key of shackling voices. 
May the future generations be born free of the inhibitions that scare them from being able to just dance like no ones watching.
