In Africa we tend to have a very negative inward glance at our situations while the American's seem to have this 'perfect life', why is that?
It is very simple and comes down to 1 thing - People in Africa are taught to hate each other, because we have so little we take from those around us. Americans are taught to hate the world, instead of taking from each other they take from those around the world.
As African's we are united in family or friend circles against our own brothers and sisters while Americans are united as a nation against everyone else. Yes They do have their own hate towards each other, but their hate for other countries far surpasses their hate for each other.
Sad to hear. Countries need cooperation to be succesful.
It is, but countrywide peace, nevermind world peace, will never happen till the second coming of Christ or end of the world. There is a scripture in the Book of Mormon, Ether 12:4 which says we hope for a better world.
That is a sad thought that yes we do hope for a better world but what are we really doing to make it better? not much. https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/12.27
