#1. Our traditional foods
South Africans have a taste for odd things such as Mopani worms(my favourite), tripe, chicken feet and goats head. These traditional foods usually go with maize meal or what we call pap and atchaar which is spiced raw mango in atchaar oil.
#2. Our fun
Our fun is mostly partying we are the best party trotters in Africa, we go where the music is, our favourite clubs are mostly based in the Gauteng region, we have a club called Blue-room and Taboo just to name one of the few of the best clubs here. If you don’t feel like partying and just want to chill you can visit Sun City Resort by Tsogo Sun, there you will have access to water parks, zip lining, cinema’s and a casino just to name a few. Speaking of casinos one of our casinos that is based in Pretoria Menlyn will be hosting WWE Raw matches here in Time Square Casino in April.
#3. Our Languages
In South Africa we have 11 official languages, namely: IsiZulu, Tshivenda, Sepedi, IsiNdebele, Setswana, IsiXhosa, Afrikaans, Xitsonga, Sesotho, English and IsiSwati. Our mix of other languages have enabled us to create a slang language called Tsotsitaal and other languages like sifanakalo. Next time you visit say heita or hola instead of hello. So this information is vital when you are visiting us for your next vacation.
#4. Our Music
We have the dopest taste in music. We dominate mainly in house music and hip hop. We have created an upbeat version of house we call Gcom which comes from Durban. Our best house DJ’s to watch out for are DJ Tira, Busisiwa and house songstresses such as Babes Wodumo, Lady Zamar etc. Concerning hip hop we are killing it with artists such as Rouge, Nast C, Sjava who will make soundtracks for the movie The Black Panther by Marvel Studios, Kwesta who recently made a collabo with Wale Folarin from the Maybach Music Group and Cassper Nyovest who last year bought a Bentley Continental GT last year and won most of the South African Music Awards.
#5. Us as human beings
Although South Africans have their faults in the past like Apartheid and misuse of power like the recent Jacob Zuma Scandals linking him and the Gupta’s to some dodgy dealings. The country had good years like when Mandela became the first black president, like how now President Zuma is stepping down as president, there is so much progress in our country. We have speed trains, we are anti-nuclear and we believe in equal opportunities for all individuals and we take racism as a serious crime. We have the best looking houses in wealthy suburbs such as Saxonworld, Woodhill and the Atlantic Seaboard, if you plan on living here we promise the best hospitality.
Conclusion: You might think that South Africa is third world but if you actually visit us you would see that there there is nothing third world about us and we don’t take lions as transport to work because that would be bad ass but pretty dangerous.
