On weekends and Wednesday's we like to braai as well some Mondays and Thursdays and some times Tuesdays. This post is not for vegans but there is some nice salads we normally have with the spitbraai .
When we do a spitbraai it's always a fun time with everybody socializing around the spitbraai. All the secret sauces, how to inject the sheep 100 different options on the day :)
This one is for the vegans our salads that go with the spitbraai a strawberry with fresh greens, red onions and nutty salad .
The potato salad with egg and mayo is a favorite that goes with 99% of all the braai's .
The last salad as always a nice noodle salad
But this is a spitbraai and the meat will be the main attraction as everybody starts nibbling from the spitbraai before they even dish up .

@louiscpt - You made my mouth water at the thought of a Braii. It has been 4-5 months since I have been able to spend some time with friends on a weekend and enjoy a good Braii. Have been away too much. The potato salad is my all time favorite and a nicely done lamb steak ... mmmm

@joanstewart yes it all went down great and we ended it of with hot mulfa poeding and some custard ;-)
