One of the popular hobbies in Africa, that especially kids and youths try out on the path to adulthood is singing! Infact, it is one of the most popularly attempted talents on the African continent; that and dancing! Everyone seems to figure out that they have a chance at it! Yes, everyone can actually sing! Whether off-key or on-key, singing is singing! Lol.
Music is an interesting subject. It is broader than the art of singing, although both are related somehow! As for anything related to music, you need pretty ears!
Music heals! It is a language and regardless of genre and beyond borders, good music is always good music but who are the people behind the world's amazing music?
Yes, you hear Beyonce belting notes regularly but there are many underlying things, that we never get to hear of, related to her music production. Hahaha, we mostly simply long for the eventual product!
There isn't much music on steemit yet but i tell you, this industry is all growing! Music enthusiast/producers will definitely turn to the steem blockchain as it gets harder and harder to break into the music scene in many countries and even on the internet! There are a ton of youths worldwide who have turn to music careers and we are happy to see many of them finding steemit. We hope to find them out by means of this post!
We implore music enthusiasts to join us in the comments below. Kindly introduce yourself here, highlight your passion for music and what you do!
We would to celebrate a few African musicians/music enthusiasts/producers and aspiring musicians within this very post. We want to remind them that their presence of steemit is valued and their aspiration to bring their music to the limelight is precious!
For now we have found 4 of them of the continent of Africa!

Awesome post man! Also a South African aspiring musician over here. I think musicians definitely have to be aware of all you've said. Exposing yourself also incites new forms of expression and opens you up to enable that fresh sound. Blesssss! Let's hope blockchain tech can also be used as a good thing for musicians productions
There is also @stefan.steynberg a South African teen who constantly shows his love and enthusiasm for music under #gedwriting in a ton of posts providing tips for aspiring music producers like himself! He offers a free #steemgigs service here:
Tips &Tricks for music enthusiasts. (Also offering my sound engineering services for free to steemian musicians)
Then ofcourse, there is @trillex from Nigeria who raps! See his words here:
Personally, I try as much as possible to pass a message/share a story when I write my songs...however I bring Fun into the music, flex on the track.
