YOU ASK & DR AHMED ANSWERٍ
-I have pain during intercourse. How do I know I do not have Vaginismus?
Q : I have pain during intercourse. How do I know I do not have Vaginismus?
A : Vaginismus is a condition where there is involuntary tightness of the vagina which makes intercourse painful or overall impossible. Tightness is due to contraction of the vaginal muscles. You will probably feel as if your partner is hitting a wall or a rock with no penetration. If you have this, then you have Vaginismus. BE WARE: you may not be aware that your muscles are contracted causing this tightness and pain. So, HEADS-UP!
