Just 3 months of boot camp and you've got job security for life as long as you have one. The drill sergeant rudely wakes you up on fine early morning with more horrible news. "You all are retired! The skynet robot soldiers are phasing out all you grunt soldiers." All that's left for you is kitchen duty washing dishes. Hell, back to civilian life. At least you can sleep in!

Meanwhile on a cloaked mothership, aliens are watching all this AI automation and robotization of society. They remember back to another race that did the same thing. Oh yes what happened? Heck, those AI robots took over and went on a rampage of sector 5 of the Milky Way. No way are we going to put up with that again! Time to reset the Human race. One of them presses the red "Deploy EMP bombs" button. Humans fall back to the caveman days. Hope these humans get it right the next time.

Funny you should say that. I keep a small calculator in a tin can. When the "EMP reset" happens I'll be the only one with "super computer" in the area. I need a bigger metal can for my tablet.
