When AI Meets Blogging

in #ai6 days ago (edited)

Hey there!
So, I’ve been thinking about how AI is totally taking over the writing game on Internets, and honestly, it’s a wild ride.

A I t's a Tool

I mean, let's face it: the future is now, and most people are going to use AI to craft their content.
It’s efficient, it saves time, and sometimes it even gives you a fresh perspective when you’re stuck in a creative rut.

But here's the kicker—on our beloved blockchain, there are folks who are so hung up on the "real" human touch that any post with a hint of AI gets downvoted to oblivion. It feels like some sort of automated bot army is running the show.

It seems like it doesn't matter if your post is somewhat interesting or funny.
Doesn't matter if your post earned penis (misspelled)
AI used? Boom! Headshot.
And your previous posts too. And your next posts too. Because why not?

I like Hive blogging not for the fact there is a crazy big audience, but for the gamification factor.
Now the factor's gone, because somebody else's rules.
This digital dystopia kinda freaks me out. Once you're blacklisted, you're done. Even your handwriting on paper won't matter.

Censorship on hive?
Of course not, obviously.
Everybody is entitled to downvote anybody for any reason. Especially bots.

I mean, algorithms take over the party and decide what's cool and what's not, then where's the fun in that? Just doesn't feel right.

But hey, maybe there’s a silver lining. The clash between AI and human creativity might just force us to be more authentic. Think of it as the ultimate challenge: outsmarting the bots by being unapologetically human. Sure, you might get a few downvotes for mistakes and clumsy language, but at least your work will have soul — something no machine can replicate. Maybe I SHOULD write in fucked up english to be recognized as people? :P.
Or just move to Twixxer?

I've been on Steem/Hive since 2017. I've seen worse.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad. Just... unencouraged. Good ol' downvotin' kinda works.
I'm not leaving. I'm still curious what the Whales will do to invite more people to OUR community.
But since nowadays even phones are AI driven, downvoting AI assisted posts isn't the way.

So, if you find yourself in a blogging battle against the AI overlords, remember this: every epic blog post starts with a spark of human madness. Embrace it, celebrate your quirks, and if the bots try to rain on your parade, just laugh it off. After all, isn’t life more fun when you’re a little unpredictable?

It's April Fool's, so no time to be sad. I made my eagerest downvoter my beneficiary. Can't wait to see what will happen.

Stay weird, and keep on blogging!
