Amazon and IBM were first one to take this step but now we have seen Microsoft doing it. We need to understand reality of situation. Normally people are stupid enough to post anything on internet and they just ignore the fact that it will remain there almost forever. This is more true for social blockchains like Hive.
We need to care for our privacy ourselves. These big companies are banning the sale of facial recognition tech but they will definitely keep on collecting the data themselves and will comply or develop something for government agencies.
If general public can't use this data then for exactly what purpose this data is collected? These kind of attempts make everything more fishy and ambiguous.
I believe that open-source solutions have contributed more towards society and transparent solutions like blockchains give more assurance and freedom to everyone. We still have to see everyone adapting it to groundlevel.
We can now witness everything getting controlled by Face now by face movements, including security measure, so why we can't have access basic user data or have those tools available for us which could lead to further development.
you know the answer's to go and live in the woods, right?
