It was in the 80s when we first introduced world the idea of robots and AI. Cyborgs, flying cars, Artificial Intelligence technology, robots, life on other planets and so on. Our imagination had no limits, and the criticize for that -at the time, was way to big.
Now, is the first time in the history of human that we are actually making changes faster than we can adapt too. We are making giant steps, steps that we can not catch. It takes 4-8 years to get a degree in a university, and it takes 6-12 months for what we learned to become "Paleolithic". Our schooling system is failing, and we see more and more people dropping the uni, taking online courses and watching videos in order to learn faster and to become more advanced.
People now accept the fact that one day we would be able to create robots with advanced technology, that we would be able to "explore" space and that making cars that can actually fly is a peace of cake. Humanity is focusing on the evolution of AI technology, and it is a matter of time to reach the desired targets. Below I have linked a Youth video from Google, about the first AI lab in human history.
All these are happening only 50 years since we first developed our first computer, and the beginning is the hard part. What is going to happen when we start using the power of AI ? Where are we heading ? How actually will life look ? Are we controlling all this change ? Are robots with Artificial Intelligence going to control our world ? Is our race as humans vanishing and getting "upgraded" by our own creations ?
