Today , i am gonna tell you some beautiful applications that are useful to a student and especially for a medical student.
Is it necessary ??
For a medical student like me, time is the important factor and to organise everything is an impossible task. Technology is what that can help us in making everything organise for us and enable us to concentrate on our studies.
Most importantly, a medical student uses a number of books for reading a single subject, like for references, for exams and materials for clearing MLE.
Making notes out of all these books and organising it in a way thats easy to revise whenever we want.
Making simple tables and flowcharts for remembering different syndromes and typical terminology.
For taking exams, as taking exams is as important as preparing notes and reading. So its very important to assess our knowledge in a regular basis.
So, these are the important reasons why we need someone to assist in our things and i will tell you some apps that are really useful for your medical school life.
- NOTABILITY.
All the apps that i am mentioning are of ios as i have an ipad and I don’t know whether these are available for android mobiles or not.
Notability is a beautiful app for taking notes. We can add images, voice clips and pdfs in our notes. The latest versions of ipad support pencil which will be great to take notes in NOTABILITY.

The main drawback of this app is its not for free and you need to pay around ₹800/-.
Its one of the best notes taking app ever, with beautiful themes and papers. I prefer you this app if you afford and one more app which is similar and free of cost available is #ONENOTE.

2)Anki.
This is an app where you can get number of flashcards online and you can even prepare flashcards for yourself.
Its a beautiful app that can make complex topics arranged in simple way to remember.
This is also a paid app and you can’t get it for free but its really worth getting this app.

3)Examsoft
This is an for taking tests. Its very useful that stores you performance, gives you rank and helps you in your progress.
It is available in offline mode and it will restricts other apps while taking tests.
You will get notifications when there is a new test available and you can even filter the questions.

4)Firecracker.
This is an app that helps you in preparing for exams. Especially USMLE. Now i think you two apps for making easy notes and two apps helpful in taking exams. This app is available for free and you can use it with ease. The concepts are stabdard and its very useful before going for tests or medical entrances.

5)Essential anatomy 5
Every medical student has faced problem with anatomy. Its very hard to remember the parts and their location. This app is helpful in studying differents parts of body separatly and in relation with other parts. A medical student will definelty love this app .
I drawback is its storage and its a paid app. If your ipad has good storage capacity and if you can afford it you can get this app. Its worth buying this app.
