K'taka is experimenting with cloud seeding
to bring rain to a state which is facing its 4th
consecutive drought year.
The state is using a Beechcraft King aircraft
loaded with silver iodide, potassium chloride
and sodium chloride.
The chemicals can bring about rain when seeded
into rain-bearing clouds.
In one sortie, the plane shot off 14 flares into seven
rain-bearing clouds over several regions.
