I wish if this world would have spent on the needy and the poor living in different parts of the globe, rather than investing trillions in military hardware, we could certainly expect a better place to live in for our future generations. As far as this is saving human lives through search-and-rescue missions and the coastal guard services, etc., it is good. But when this enters the bigger arena for military purposes and killing other people, it just loses it's very purpose.
Just a thought.
