In a previous post I mentioned different attachments that you can put on your airsoft gun and foregrips where one of the attachments that i suggested
Different types of foregrips
There are 3 different types of foregrips. The first is the angled foregrip. This is a small foregrip that is at a 45 degree angle and you can wrap your hand around the grip and the rail of the gun making it very easy to have alot of stability, control and moverability around corners.
The second type is a vertical foregrip. This grip is a 90 degree angled grip from the mounting of the rail from the gun. This grip allows you to have a full grip over the entire vertical grip without touching the rails of the gun. This gives you alot of control of the gun and also helps to be more accurate over longer distances. The downfall is that when you are moving around corners you do not have as much control and your response time is much slower
The third grip is a stubby grip. The grip is also a 90 degree angled grip but is about half the length of the vertical grip. This is also not as short as an angled foregrip. This grip allows your hand to rest half on the grip and the other half on the rails on the gun giving you the best of both other foregrips
Choosing the right grip for you
In airsoft the foregrip is completely preference because a foregrip is used on a real steal weapon to reduce recoil on the weapon but In airsoft the guns have no recoil. So using a foregrip will only really be there for style and to help increase accuracy over long distance. You do have GBB airsoft guns that have recoil but they will not kick as much as a real steal weapon.
Remember that this is related to airsoft and my personal experience with these types of grips and if you feel that i am misinformed please feel free to express your opinion in the comments.
