Welcome!
I am a fan of the Mauser m712 replica. Unfortunately, the cost of this replica is too big. Here is the post about mauser m712 and c96.
Collected funds will be allocated to this replica: https://www.taniemilitaria.pl/pl,mauser-c96-we712-gbb-we,0,5,47,50,16838.html#.W_Q8A4dKgdU

Mauser C96 submachine gun was used during the Second World War in the German army :

  • Most often Mauser C96 was used in the Waffen-SS. In the first phase of the war, the Waffen-SS was outside the supply system than the WEhrmacht and often used the Wehrmacht's "despised" weapon. Mausery C96 was produced in Germany until October 1939 (civil and export production) and some part of it went to the Waffen-SS and was used in the Second World War. The next model that was used in these units was Mauser 712

Here's what a soldier with this gun might look like:

An earlier version of Mauser m712 is Mauser C96. Mauser m712 is loaded from below. The C96 Mauser is loaded from above

Mauser C96 was popular in Russia during the civil war :

  • Photograph taken in the trenches of WWI. Note the attached shoulder stock.

C96 Mauser in the German army during the First World War :

  • Many of these weapons were produced ... about a million pieces - although the vast majority "spread around the world", but in Germany there were also a lot of them - first of all "red nine", which was delivered until the end of the First World War about 136 thousand . After the war, this weapon (of course not all - those that survived and their technical condition was right) were adopted by the Reichswehr and used there.

Mauser C96 was also used in the China Army :

There were also such inventions :

  • "WWI Hungarian Air Force Gunner. His aircraft is armed with 10 C96 pistols "
