Turning to God for help During These Turbulent Times

With so much bad news in the press, it’s a natural instinct to shore ourselves up and stay away from danger. When we encounter bad news, it triggers a fight or flight response that often leaves us anxious or depressed. If we feel hopeless, we can retreat into bad habits and become easily influenced into schemes or by bad actors who seek to control us. The past few years have seen those in power confuse, frighten, lockdown and coerce the people to hate each other, and these wrongs can only be addressed by the almighty.

In this life, which is marred by the ill-intended actions of bad actors and the inaction of good people, we need assistance from our creator. God is bigger than our problems and is eternal. God exists, and he wants you to prosper. The Bible is filled with stories of blessings and gifts, and God wants you to be blessed. Sin blocks blessings, and temptation to follow the herd into fear has led us here. The stimulus payments led to inflation, lockdown led to death and stagnation and corporate profiteering led to harmful greed. Greed, fear and complicity by masses got us here, and further sins will dig our hole deeper. Time to pray and hustle to get ourselves to a better place. Being alive and thriving means we need to be smart, work hard and pray to avoid deeper troubles.

Turn off the corporate media and focus on the truth. Do not cave and follow despots who seek to use fear to take your bodily autonomy or blessings from you. Fear blocks blessings in both divine and earthly ways. Turn from the temptation to lash out against those who have abused their power, and make sure to vote and use the law to address these wrongs. Any action that is violent or malevolent on our end will be condemned by the almighty, so we need to use the system and our own means to provide for our families to survive. Take flight from evil. This may mean that we have to work hard, including working multiple jobs and side hustles to make it during these times, but so be it. We do what we must to provide for our families and survive as people have been doing for thousands of years. An easy life is not promised to us.

Be a good actor and stand up for what is right. So much of the abuses by large companies including tech and the media and governments was due to people following the herd. Lockdowns and censorship have hurt millions, and small-businesses caved to large publically-traded entities. People turned on each other and division was expanded instead of being rightly quashed. Cooler heads did not prevail, and as a result our blessing was blocked in more ways than one.

Inflation and job loss are getting worse. We know that unemployment leads to despair and recklessness that translates into many awful things. Now is not the time to abandon faith, rather it is time to turn more towards it. God is present always and is much larger than the greed and fearmongering that is leading us astray. The Devil is real, and if you think otherwise he is deceiving you. The Devil is not in Hell, as he will be after judgement, rather is wanders the Earth to and fro, as he told Jesus during his temptation. There is hope, and the world is a beautiful place but we need guidance and we need to be humble in the face of this situation. Hard work, community building and prayer are essential to thrive and survive now.

I am passionate about the way people have been treated during this time, and how those in charge misused their authority to harm us. All I recommend is to be positive, pray and focus on survival during the coming recession. Fear got us into this mess, and fear will do nothing but harm us going forward. No violent action or negative or froward words will help, rather turning to our creator for guidance and prayers for wisdom will do us well. At this time, we need to vote and build local communities that are focused on both business and spiritual endeavors.
