I took this photo on 16th of February, 2017 from Highway 363. I was in a desolate area southwest of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, on the road for a job that took me from farm to farm and town to town. This is a part of the province where there were nearly no trees except ones that were planted. This row is one example. In earlier decades, it was important for farmers to have shelter belts--places where trees were planted to keep the top soil from blowing away. Scenes like this were a wonderful blessing during some cold days trying to connect with people.
