For the pages I use a software called Comipo, and for the pictures I use whatever program I like.

Normally for making a comic, I think you have to first create a story or a plan, just like you would for a normal book. Then you would make sketches and draw final drawings to go with the story.

In my case however there is no story.
As a graphic artist I like to experiment with all kinds of ways to create expressive "art" / compositions.

I use whatever software I can and find usefull to get the result I like.

To put it all together in a sort of comic style grid / page gives me a lot of freedom.

This is what I like about steemit: I can publish my free art exactly as I like, no need to explain the how's and why's ( as you most often need to do when working for a client ).

So if you would like to do this kind of work, my only advise can be: experiment and create whatever you want.

Maybe in your case it is an idea to draw on paper and then take pictures of it with your camera or create a story first.
I think everyone has a different approach to it...
