Hahaha, I don't think they are all that secretive actually, just a lot of people who are working really hard to promote strong communities on steem. Would you consider applying, I think I can put a good word in ;p

I do steemitbloggers and ginabot on discord but don't spend any time there because I am talking to so many people like you are.
You always make me smile good Sir! Well, my application was accepted and I am in the probationary phase now, this is where they want to make sure you are going to be a good member, interact with other members and are not just joining to get free upvotes or anything.
Since you are a top engagement user on Steem, I think it would be pretty easy to see how much of a blessing it would be to have you. The first step is making an application in a post, like I did, and answer 3 questions, the same ones I did! I will have to refer to that post to tell you what they are, probably how did you hear about the alliance, why do you want to be a part of the alliance and what do you offer the alliance?
After that is a probationary phase and then...well, I don't even know yet!
