eye of eve was a kind of chaos genesis engine to randomize and expand possibility space while still allowing for some form of future convergence point by interlacing the chaos onto a synchronized clock and saving a few random screenshots of it from 10 years ago.
at the very least, things certainly did get more chaotic.
it's also heavily tethered to the 'Kurumi' spirit from date a live/bullet, which might tell you where @chain-reaction comes from. That being said, eye of eve just looks like something creepy/ominous to normal people.
