**How to Buy Altcoins: With Zero Fees**

Buying Bitcoin or any type of Altcoin can be intimidating to new comers. You've only ever heard of it from co-workers, friends, stock ex, etc. But now you want to dive in, but have no idea where to start. You see all these other coins that are way cheaper but aren't sure what to buy, so I recommend doing research on what your purchase before you purchase it.

If you decide to invest it may take a few days to become verified on exchanges. Sites I recommend are:

Coinbase
Gdax
Binance

Once accounts are created these steps as followed will aid you in purchasing Altcoins

Step 1: Sign up to Coinbase

Go to Coinbase
Create an account
Fund your account with a bank transfer

Coinbase recently disabled purchases using Credit Cards from Chase, Capital One, Bank of America, and Citi.
To purchase you can use either an Account number which would take about 7 days for you to receive your coins. Or you can use a Debt Card which has a high fee charge but you get the coins instantly.

Step 2: Sign up at Gdax

Go to www.gdax.com
(You shouldn't have to create an account because Gdax and Coinbase are linked)
Transfer funds from Coinbase to Gdax

After you transfer your funds to Gdax you will be able to make a purchase without a transaction.

Step 3: Buy Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum

Decide which cryptocurrency you would like to purchase
Select "Limit" on the left
Select "Buy" below limit
Input the amount and limit price
Select "Place buy order"

Currently I would go with Ethereum because of the cheaper transactions fees and faster transaction speed.

Step 4: Sign up at Binance

Go to Binance

Step 5: Transfer to Binance

Log into Gdax and Binance
In Gdax from the drop down on the left select your coin
Select "Withdraw"
In the pop up select "Address"
In the altcoin exchange select your coin and deposit
Copy the deposit address
Paste the deposit address in the "Address" field in Gdax
Select "Withdraw Funds"

Please take your time when doing this, it is extremely important to use the correct Hash when sending currency. If you send it to the wrong hash you could lose your money without any chance of being recovered.

Step 6: Buy Altcoins

Verify the transaction has been processed
Once the transfer has been processed you are ready to buy Altcoins
Always remember to check for accuracy when transferring
