I actually did read about that when I was researching today. This is the answer that was given
I had the same problem and found a thread where if the ports are already in use the daemon will crash.
If any programs are currently using ports 3333/4444 then LBRY will crash
Unfortunately I'm not smart enough to tell you what that means but from reading about crypto wallets for a long time, the answer is usually to delete the wallet, restart your computer and re-install the wallet. It's kind of like unplugging the router/modem for 30 seconds then plugging it back in back in the day.
I think your best chance to get a good answer is to go to their slack channel at http://slack.lbry.io/ because real time interaction makes solving problems easier. If not you can always ask int he r/lbry subreddit.
