Use it or Lose it: Support Kessler

Stand with Jason

We are losing a perfectly winnable legal fight right now. It's time for the men who understand what's going on to speak up in support of Jason Kessler and his important legal work. In the past year where nearly every nationalist activist, including myself, has imploded, Jason Kessler has continued tirelessly picking up the pieces and doing the real work despite an impressive series of hardships and setbacks. This is the kind of leadership our cause has been waiting for, a man who doesn't shrink away from the flash bulbs but who spends more time thanklessly coordinating, planning, and organizing than courting the media.

What's going on is that Charlottesville is being used as a pretext by leftist legal activists to fully and finally kill the Skokie Precedent and render all public right wing activism functionally illegal. Local governments need only instruct their law enforcement to stand down, then sue and prosecute the organizers and attendees on the right for the lawlessness that they deliberately engineered. Charlottesville has already successfully denied Kessler a permit to return to Charlottesville, an unprecedented leftist victory which only came about because Kessler's very talented legal team lacked the resources to follow through on the landmark threat to the First Amendment.

This was all already sorted out well before I was born, in the Supreme Court's "National Socialist Party of America vs. the Village of Skokie." case. The local government tried to argue that they couldn't afford to do their job. The local government tried to argue that the leftist radical threats left them with no choice but to cave to the "heckler's veto." The local government attempted all the usual shenanigans, with prohibitive fees, malicious delays, and other clever attempts to achieve an end run around right wing Freedom of Assembly.

And in case you scoffed when you saw the words "National Socialist," bear in mind that this time around, the precedent is being extended to the Proud Boys, Minutemen, and Alt Knights who had no choice but to defend themselves alongside us reprehensible "racists" when Charlottesville's law enforcement repeatedly forced the left and right into direct contact. For all the talk of our frothing racial hatred, not a single one of us hesitated to defend ourselves alongside Invictus's non-White Alt Knights in attendance. It was "Unite the Right," after all; not "Unite the White." And the legal issues here will strike the entire Right, not just White Nationalists.

Just yesterday, Apple, Spotify, Facebook, and the rest of Big Tech moved in a planned and coordinated manner against Alex Jones. We absolutely must stop bickering with our bedfellows and recognize before it's too late that the globalists are moving against everyone who opposes the multinational corporate agenda, that is pretty much everybody who's openly critical of the mainstream GOP. Whether you're a full-blown Nazi who chuckles at Alex Jones' water purifiers or you enjoy listening to the latest InfoWars podcast with your biracial significant other, you're being kicked off of the Internet and off of the street at the same time.

The difference between the Internet and the street is that we have centuries of legal precedent bolstering our right to assemble which afford us a fighting chance in court that we don't have against Facebook, Apple, and Google. With the Internet, the solutions are largely Alt Tech workarounds rather than legal fights. But mark my word that if Kessler and the rest of the Charlottesville attendees lose this fight, everybody to the right of the President, and a good share of Trump supporters, will find themselves incapable of publicly organizing in the near future.

Rarely, if ever, in political history, has so much political ground relied on so little financial support. Only a few thousand dollars stands between ourselves and a likely shot at preserving Freedom of Assembly in this country. And yet, only a couple thousand dollars have transpired. I know that many of you are disheartened, frustrated by the fearsome response that the neoliberal political machine aimed at us in the wake of Trump's electoral upset. But the mega-trends remain squarely in our long-term favor, and this senile neo-colonial world order is every bit as stable right now as the Soviet regime was in the early eighties.

The men who showed up last year didn't lose the street fight, but their fight is being forfeited in the aftermath by a broader movement which has chosen to turn its back on them. The men who defended themselves against an assailant bludgeoning people with a MagLite now rot in prison, betrayed and forgotten by a movement more concerned with optics than honor. The young man who panicked after being chased around in circles by leftist vigilantes with assault rifles is now staring down the death penalty.

Leftists will correctly note that one of their own, Heather Heyer, already received the death penalty. I regret her passing, but I lay the blame on Charlottesville for choosing not to protect her on that humid August day. I hesitate to even bother ascribing any blame to Dwayne Dixon and his "Redneck Revolt" radicals who corralled Fields. People on both sides were rightfully panicking and fearing for their lives after it became obvious to all sides that the thousands of law enforcement and even National Guard troops fully capable of entirely restoring order had been ordered to stand down.

There were only a handful of arrests made amidst all the violence, and their nature showcases Charlottesville's priorities. I was among the very few arrested, for my symbolic refusal to disperse when ordered to do so. Their priority was punishing the organizers, not protecting the citizens on all sides. Not a single person on either side was arrested for instigating violence. The footage of the garage incident features several law enforcement officers standing around and getting paid when DeAndre Harris attacked and the nationalists reacted. None of that would have transpired had one officer among the several hundred stepped forward to restore order. Just one.

The problem here is that all of these facts and truths we're sitting atop don't matter if we as a movement don't bother to bring these truths to court. Kessler has lined up the legal team, but he's behind on payment. The leftists have not only booted us from conventional fundraising services like PayPal and GoFundMe, but have coordinated with the credit card processing services to preclude nearly everything except for cryptocurrency and checks and money orders in the mail. Even the "high risk" processors who specialize in providing services to overseas scammers and legally dubious pornography can't and won't touch our right wing fundraisers.

Kessler's upcoming anniversary event isn't the foolish personal project his detractors in the movement describe it as. Hosting a peaceful and successful follow-up event is a critical component in an intelligently drafted legal strategy to ensure that being anti-globalist in broad daylight doesn't become illegal. That's how high the stakes are. If, as anticipated, Kessler's attorneys have to forfeit the legal battle on account of a near absence of financial support, the Skokie Precedent will be permanently demolished. Every other city will emulate Charlottesville's proven "Stand Down" model for defeating right wing activists, and left wing activists will do their part to threaten the mob violence required as a pretext for preemptively denying our Freedom of Assembly.

Jason Kessler's attorneys are already several thousand dollars ahead of their very reasonable legal fees, having defended our movement out of their own pockets for months now. They understand the gravity of the fight. It's an appealing case, because it's the sort where our facts and legal precedents can empower our side to prevail with ten thousand dollars against the hundreds of thousands being dumped into this battle by the opposition. It's a reasonable expense to be paid, especially considering how much more expensive it will be to attempt to reverse the decisions after they've been enshrined by our side's forfeiture.

I fear that the Right won't realize this opportunity until after it's passed and the consequences of dereliction land at their feet. I fear that the more "moderate" and "respectable" men on the right who could easily carry this fight across the finish line won't realize that their own asses are on the line with this legal fight until it's too late. I really need to focus on my acute personal and financial problems right now, but I've been left with no choice but to speak up. While I accept that our cause will never be able to truly match our opposition financially, there's no excuse for this unnecessary forfeiture and retreat which awaits us if you don't act.

Some will note that I'm only speaking out because I'm named in the lawsuit. I will most likely be losing my home on account of all this, despite having done nothing but attempt to peacefully attend a lawful, permitted event. I'm not asking for your support. I'm asking for you to step up and defend yourself against this legal challenge which targets all of us. Long after the bank auction on my property, long after my family and I have settled into our next home, it will still be essentially illegal to be anti-globalist in broad daylight if we lose this legal fight.

Not all of you can join Kessler next week in Washington. I'm no longer in a position to be involved in public events. We all have our situations and limitations, but the least that the rest of us can do is offer our full-throated defense of Jason Kessler and his work. If not for him, do it for the men courageous enough to join him in his historic public stand for not only our people, but the most basic Constitutional principles of this country. Beyond that, we absolutely must have a surge of financial support for the legal team, one seismic enough to fund and motivate the attorneys through to the conclusion of the fight.

They need real money, and they need it now. If you don't unite behind Unite the Right; then news will come in a few weeks that the attorneys have abandoned the cases; then news will come that the cases have been decisively lost by default; then news will come that right wing attempts to organize are being systemically squelched. If you do unite, then news will likely come that our movement has prevailed. Finally, our attorneys will hold Charlottesville accountable for its lethal stratagem and ensure that Freedom of Assembly survives a little longer in America.

Please give generously to the Unite the Right Legal Fund, encourage your friends to give generously, and help spread the word about what's actually at stake in this legal battle. Rights are like muscles; you either use them or you lose them. Some clever folks are arguing that we should accept this defeat and retreat from the street, focusing exclusively on sharing memes among ourselves on the shrinking platforms afforded to us in the darker corners of the web. They claim we should leave Kessler, his legal fight, and his public stand hanging out to dry.

We're all better than that, and it's time to prove it.
