This was a nice surprise!
While taking care of some things in the garden with Red-Pepper today, a bird took off out of seemingly nowhere. Upon further investigation, we found that it had built a nest inside the hops bines and already laid three eggs in it! This is part of why I consider a garden to be a place to be!

The nest is just on the ground, hiding behind those leaves. Thats very risky for predators.
Great find!...:)...
Ah, Mother Nature giving gifts of love to the peppers.......... nice!
This is just so special! Three little blue bird eggs. What kind of bird is it? Robins lay blue eggs and so do little hummingbirds.
Aww how cool is that! Finding a little birds nest in your garden. Today while in my garden I discovered another type of garden pest eating my potatoes. Big black Blister Beetles!
